HRC Orlando

The Orlando/Central Florida Steering Committee of the Human Rights Campaign is a diverse volunteer group of individuals working each and every day to bring the mission of HRC to gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender and straight-supportive people in this area.

Over 200 members strong, the Metropolitan Business Association is Central Florida’s GLBT chamber of commerce. With many opportunities to get involved with the local gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgendered community, we’re proud to be an integral part of the Orlando area community.

PFLAG

Parents, Families and Friends of Lesbians and Gays (PFLAG) is a national non-profit organization with over 200,000 members and supporters and over 500 affiliates in the United States. This vast grassroots network is cultivated, resourced and serviced by the PFLAG National Office, located in Washington, D.C., the national Board of Directors and 13 Regional Directors. FORGE

For Ourselves: Reworking Gender Expression (FORGE) is a national education, advocacy, and support umbrella organization that provides victim services to persons who identify as transgender. It also offers training and technical assistance to the sexual assault service providers who serve this population.

The Center

The Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual Community Center of Central Florida has been in operation for over 30 years and openly welcomes all who identify as transgender, their friends, family and supporters.

Orlando Transgender Forum

A forum for building community amongst people in Central Florida around issues of gender variance (transgender, intersex, and other gender non-conformity).The reason we're here: to come together in order to create that which could never happen on our own.

The Triangle Connection

The Triangle Connection, Inc., is a social organization for Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, and Transgender persons who Live, Love, Work, or Play in the Golden Triangle Cities of Eustis, Mount Dora, and Tavares, in Lake County Florida.

Rainbow Family in the Villages

Since August 2007, the Rainbow Family and Friends Club has grown steadily, and has sponsored a wide variety of social events, fund raisers for the community at large, and educational meetings on pertinent topics of interest. Our founders are very proud of the club and believe they have done much to promote diversity here in the Villages. Our website is designed for communication directed to the LGBT community of the tri-county area of Marion, Lake, and Sumter Counties. Events, information, resources of local interest are featured there.

Help for Straight Spouses

The Straight Spouse Network (SSN) is an international organization that provides personal, confidential support and information to heterosexual spouses/partners, current or former, of gay, lesbian, bisexual or transgender mates and mixed-orientation or transgender/non-transgender couples for constructively resolving coming-out problems.

Come Out Orlando is a group of local queer and supportive people that are dedicated to achieving equal rights and protections for Central Florida's lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender community striving to create an environment, which promotes uncompromising equality for LGBT people in all matters governed by law and society using non-violent direct action to educate and facilitate positive change.

Out In Ocala

Out In Ocala is an information super highway for and about the GLBTQA community, their families, friends and supporters in and around Ocala, Florida. It is the goal of Out In Ocala to keep this website appropriate for all ages. Out In Ocala will spotlight issues concerning the GLBTQA community locally, along with state and federal issues and news from around the world.

Equality Florida is the largest civil rights organization dedicated to securing full equality for Florida’s lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) community. Chartered by MBA Orlando and Lockheed Martin PRIDE, our mission is to enable and empower our transgender and ally community by connecting, sharing best practices, building awareness, and educating the whole community. The T Network is free and open to anyone wanting to share in our mission.
